Pet Rescue Meeting: Friday – February 8 at 6:30 PM at the Pine Brook
Hills Community Center (Fire Station #1) As members of the 3rd Arm, Allen and I have agreed to try to organize a volunteer pet rescue plan. Our goal is to have neighborhood groups or “pods” that would help with pet rescues in the event of emergency evacuations in Pine Brook, Boulder Heights and Carriage Hills. We all recognize the potentially tragic situation of not being home during an evacuation, leaving pets stranded. This 1st meeting is to organize and plan; and we’d like those interested in helping with this phase to attend. Attending doesn’t mean you’d have to be part of the future volunteer rescue group. Sara Spencieri from the Boulder County Animal Control has agreed to attend. Allen and I are bringing pizza, so please let us know if you can attend! Thanks.
